The grand prize winning entry of the 2007 Pine Valley Art of Wind Contest belongs to Tyler Baily, a grade 9 student at the Pine Valley Central School.  Tyler titled the piece: "A natural energy source for the world."

 Jake Scott, a high school student at PVCS, won 1st place at the grade 9-12 level. He titled his entry: "Night Silhouette of Windmills."

 Jeana Helman placed 1st in the grades 6-8 category.  Jeana, a 7th grader, added the following caption to her piece: "This picture shows how wind energy is part of everyday life."

3-5 category, Cassandra Tingel, a grade 5 student at PVCS, wrote of her piece: "One side of the poster it shows windmills and the other side has no windmills."

Megan Stefanik, grade 1, placed 1st at the K-2 level.  Her entry, "Keeping Air Clean," illustrates the environmental benefits of wind energy.

Noble held it's first art contest in Chautauqua County, NY: 2007 Chautauqua County Art of Wind.  Open to all amateur and student artists, the theme was, "Living with Wind Energy in Your Community."  The grand prize winner was Andrea Zdrojewski, grade 12, from Fredonia H.S.  Andrea described her piece as, "...Symbolically the images present a positive outlook on the flowing cycle that would help maintain a beautiful and vibrant world..."

Parker Reininga was one of five 1st place winners of the Chautauqua Art of Wind.  Parker, an 8th grader at Fredonia Middle School, titled his winning entry: "A nice day in the fields with a windmill."

Daniel Cuccia of grade 8 at Fredonia Middle School also placed 1st in the Chautauqua Art of Wind contest.  Daniel's caption reads: "Wind power is a better, healthier power than gas."

Ally Farrell, grade 8, of Fredonia Middle School took a colorful - as well as practical - approach to the theme.  She was among the five 1st place winning artists.

Last, but not least, Rachel Ludwig, grade 8, of Fredonia Middle School, placed 1st in the contest, too.  She says of her artwork, "I drew a picture of a windmill with kids hanging on it.  There is also some clouds, wind, and a smiley face sun."
