| With its good wind resource, the Noble Allegany Windpark is ideally positioned to provide clean energy and economic benefits resulting from a state-wide initiative to get more energy from renewable sources. Noble Environmental Power proposes to install 55 turbines in the town of Centerville and 12 in the town of Rushford, with construction to begin in 2009. The 67 turbine, 100.5 megawatt windpark would yield the following benefits for the communities of Centerville and Rushford: |

Economic benefits
- PILOT payments from the Noble Allegany Windpark will provide hundreds of thousands of dollars of new income to the schools, towns, and county every year. This money can be used to reduce local taxes and improve local services.
- Easement payments to participating landowners and purchases from local vendors and service providers will significantly contribute to the local economy.

The application to the town of Centerville, NY kicked off the New York State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) process. Noble has prepared and submitted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS), which assesses the environmental impact of the project, evaluates reasonable alternatives, and examines potential mitigation measures.
