How Can I Support Wind Energy?

Increasing levels of public awareness about the consequences of our energy choices have resulted in extremely high levels of support for renewable sources of energy like wind. 

Numerous polls have shown that the public believes strongly in wind energy, because they realize that "we need to do something" about our energy future.

Letting your local, state, and federal elected officials know that you support wind energy is important.  Ask them to support policies that create market incentives for clean energy:

• Visit the Union of Concerned Scientists' pages on a National Renewable Energy Standard and state-level Renewable Portfolio Standards.
