• Gathers all information, drawings, sketches, data sheets, specifications, pertaining to the scope of work
• Determines the respective scope for each subcontractor
• Assembles and pre-qualifies list of competent bidders and intended scope
• Assembles and issues bid package for subcontractors
• Distributes the invitation to bid and request for proposals
• Receives and evaluates subcontractor bids and assembles bid comparison, recommends short list, and negotiates final subcontract lump sum amount
• Oversees submittals, receipts, and forwards to subcontractors
• Maintains records of subcontracts, issue work orders, change orders, and amendments as appropriate during execution of subcontract
• Oversees application for payment and issues closeout paperwork
