Responsible for coordinating all Noble Environmental Power emergency repair procedures on wind turbine generators on their designated wind sites. Ensures that all scheduled preventive maintenance is being performed on a timely and accurate basis. If the service work is subcontracted to a third party, QC must inspect service to ensure accuracy.
- Optimizes the reliability and utilization of NEP turbines by minimizing down time and maximizing performance (meet budgeted performance objectives: safety, environmental, productivity and financial).
- Works with the National Operations Center to provide the correct tools, parts and consumables to the project site maintenance groups. Distributes documentation to all service groups as soon as it is available.
- Minimizes down time in catastrophic major component failures by delivering replacement components and resources to the turbine site as soon as possible.
- Manages site team through the use of “Quality Improvement Tools” to constantly improve the operations of the turbine site. A focus in maximizing the output by minimizing trouble calls and loss of availability.
- Manages site level spare parts inventory and ensure adequate supply to maximize turbine operation. Reports inventory levels when asked.

Requirements for Job
- Education:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or five or more years of progressive turbine service management.
- Experience/Skills:
- Incumbent must possess strong oral communication, writing and computer skills.
- Planning and project management experience are a must.
- Must be a team player and have the ability to climb towers to aid in trouble shooting problems.
